Get unstuck.  Habitual movement patterns from past injuries, postural deviations, or even pscho-emotional traumas can limit our range of expression, cause pain, and hold us back physically in our practice and energetically in our lives. These habits can become so deeply ingrained that we are no longer even aware of them, they are our embedded, embodied blindspots. In one-on-one practice, you can expect to find new impressions, sensations, and breakthroughs to replace unconscious movement patterns. Subtle shifts in one part of the body can have a profound ripple effect on the entire body, practice, and perspective for the practitioner. I bring together experience from over a decade of working one-on-one with clients with personalized hands on adjustments and feedback together with my years as a massage therapist in myofascial release, sports massage, and trigger point work. My intention as a private yoga teacher is to inspire a joyful practice, build a clear foundation of good technique, help you shed self-limiting patterns in body and mind, and ultimately to transform and empower you with the mind-body awareness and tools needed to take responsibility for your own radiant well being.

Some private clients have kept a regular weekly appointment with me for years to bring a well-rounded studio practice home with detailed postural assessment and hands-on adjustments. Some clients work with me briefly to troubleshoot a specific area for several sessions: such as reconnecting to the practice postpartum or after a major life event, learning arm balances or inversions safely and skillfully, or learning how to modify the practice for their particular goals, injuries, or desires. Some clients work with me once as a way to gain insights to deepen a public studio practice, treat themselves to the experience, or get support designing a balancing home practice unique to their physicality they can do on their own. I can help you with almost any puzzle your body is trying to figure out, from breaking down and strategizing a sound approach to an advanced postures to practicing with greater ease and less pain.

After you have completed your intake forms, to book, you can pay directly onsite here or via personal check or Venmo. To schedule, or contact me to make arrangements.

Baltimore

Private and semi-private instruction available in a fully-equipped studio in Rodgers Forge, or at your work or home.

Travel fees apply dependent on location.

*During the COVID 19 pandemic I am working exclusively via Virtual Zoom Private Sessions.

Remote classes

Perfect for those who are not local to Baltimore but still wish to work one-on-one with me, these remote classes are conducted via Zoom.

Rates

1-hour Instruction: $150

90-minute Instruction: $210

Travel fee: $25 within a 30 min radius

Semi-Private fee: $25 per additional person up to 5 people.

One on one session designed for your body, your conditions, and your personal yoga objectives. This option is ideal for those who are new to yoga and would like personal attention and instruction, seasoned practitioners who want to work toward specific physical goals, and those with injuries or special conditions.
