We begin with foam roller work to engage the belly and free up energy at the upper and lower ends of the spine. Class progresses into thoracic rotation, compression core, hamstrings opening and deep squats. Surya namaskar awakens the metronome of the Ujjayi and Heart. We sink into a strong and long flow to twist integrate and stabilize moving into arm balances and more core before opening hip flexors with added load and freeing it all up with final backbends.
