Class starts with exercises to isolate extension and adduction of the shoulders, to prepare to hold binds and arm balances without collapsing and medially rotating the shoulders. We build heat with flows incorporating the blocks, core strength, and glute activation. Long standing balance challenges the standing leg and hip strength before we move to the wall for the end of class exploring Heron Pose, Sundial Pose, Elephant Trunk Pose, 8 Angle Pose, and Eka Pada Kundinyasana. We wind down with a long supported bridge.
